Jeff Connell, underwater basket-weaving champion of Seattle, began at WAY-FM in late summer. He grew up in Seattle, home of the Mariners, Seahawks and Supersonics, all of whom he is an avid fan of (until he came to Denver and became Jeff, the Bandwagon Rockies Fan). However, his all time favorite sports team is the Washington State Cougars. Life outside of sports includes his beautiful wife Tawsha. Of course, when Jeff and Tawsha met, it was anything but love at first sight. But the couple eventually came around, fell in love, and was married over five years ago.
The couple now has two dogs, a hamster, three parakeets, a cockatiel, four cats, and an iguana. We’re grateful to add Jeff to the staff here, not only as a phenomenal afternoon show host, but also for his gourmet cooking abilities and his unique collection of Bob Ross collectible figurines.

Describe what you do on the air:
Talk about life, successes and failures, play some music, and try to get you to laugh at least once during the show...
Hey, my name is Chad Harris. I am a close friend of the Bethea family. As you may know, Brandon (19 years old) was in a dirt bike accident on 8/24/09 in which he was thrown from the bike into a brick wall. He was not wearing a helmet and is suffering from multiple skull fractures (severe head trauma), a punctured lung, many broken facial bones, and a broken wrist. He is currently in a coma at UAB in Birmingham. I have started a foundation in Brandon's name with Max FCU for ANYONE to make donations. You can donate directly through Max FCU, or for more info or donation options, contact me at: chuxxx06@yahoo.com or (334)318-0908. All prayers and donations are very much appreciated.
If there is anyway you could broadcast this information on the air and/or your website, it would be tremendously appreciated.
