Donna In Your Mid-Day

Cruise through your work day with Donna Cruz each weekday from 9 - 2 (CST). Listen while you work.

Donna came to WAY-FM five years ago from Minneapolis. Her career has been in rock and top 40 radio plus she’s worked as an entertainment reporter and even took a spot on the set of VH1’s Rock Across America.

Donna claims Texas as home but was born in California, then moved to Maine, Montana, then Canada, Texas, New York, back to Texas, Germany, back to Texas, back to Germany, back to Texas (see a pattern here?), then to Minnesota and now lives here in South Florida.

Donna has a passion for helping homeless men, women and children. She and her family hope to provide a ministry concentrating on these efforts some day.

Catch up with Donna about life, family, friends and just have a good time on your drive home weekdays 9 - 2 central time on WAY-FM.

Re: Organic food not more nutritous...

I just spoke to you, but another tid-bit....

To be certified as organic, the land it is grown on has to be herbicide and pesticide free for SEVEN years.... And.... IF there are surrounding farms etc. that border yours and you have run-off from them, and they are not herbicide / pesticide free, that affects your land being cerified or not!

Gravatar image Donna -- I am so very disappointed in your comments about your son's choice about joining a hockey team.

1. You are under-mining his positive choices on national / world wide radio -- what are you doing to his self-esteem and to that of other young people who are trying to make positive choices. He easily could choose drugs, crime or sex as other avenues to express himself. Now all his friends and peers know you talk about him in a selfish and non-positive manner. You are placing so much guilt on him for a positive choice, and all for money -- NOT GOOD PARENTING.

2nd -- What are you worshiping -- Money or God. God is paving the streets of heaven with gold -- why are you complaining about spending your money --which you luckly have -- on your son.
I have lost my job and don't have money to spend on my children's desires. How guilty are you making me, and otheres that are unemployeed at this time, that I have been unable to find
employment to give my kids what they desire....
